We rented the pavilion at Gallatin River Lodge for our wedding welcome party, and it set the tone for the whole weekend. They helped us plan the buffet menu, had the tables set up, and the bar service was great. But what we kept hearing from our people all night was the food and the scenery. Over and over. We're from Bozeman. We know this town. And somehow it felt like a destination wedding. Like we'd dropped our guests into somewhere beautiful and far away, except it was right here the whole time. People were taking pictures all over the outdoor space. It was that kind of place. We've told anyone who would listen: Gallatin River Lodge is phenomenal for hosting family holiday dinners, staycations, local getaways. It is one of our top recommendations, and we're so glad we kicked off our wedding weekend there.

I recently stayed at GRL for the fifth or sixth time! Needless to say, it is my absolute favorite lodging in the Bozeman area. The lodge sits in beautiful and peaceful countryside surrounded by mountain views, yet is close to all that Bozeman and the Gallatin Valley have to offer. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The rooms are nicely appointed, and the beds and bedding are very comfortable. The restaurant is fabulous with exquisite food and great service. During this last visit, the staff arranged for me to get a much-needed massage at Eternal Dream Day Spa, a short drive away. Anna Alvin gave me the best massage I have ever had!! I highly recommend Gallatin River Lodge and Eternal Dream Day Spa for your Montana adventures.

I recently stayed at the Gallatin River Lodge, and it was a beautiful setting. The surroundings were peaceful and truly exquisite. The staff was friendly and attentive, and when an issue arose, they made a genuine effort to resolve it. In the end, the general manager, resolved it with fairness and professionalism, which was greatly appreciated.

We came here for happy hour for the first time and what a gem GRL is! Great happy hour drink deals, food it very nice but smaller portions. This would make for a great staycation, anniversary treat, or a great location for visiting the Gallatin Valley/Big Sky areas. The setting is beautiful & the lodge atmosphere a great blend of homey & elevated. Pictured is their Old Fashioned & the Bison Tartare.

GUEST ROOMS

Each season at the lodge, just like our accommodations, offers its own story. In the spring, the pasture turns green, the trout pond fills, and the herons come. The wild landscape blooms as spring turns to summer, including our herb and flower gardens. Throwing a line is as easy as stepping out your front door, and the big blue sky expands your imagination. Fall brings the most refreshing crisp mountain air and colorful pops before we fade into peaceful winter white.

Our accommodations include Main Lodge Suites, Trout Lodge Rooms, and the Trout Lodge Suite.

Main Lodge Suites

The Main Lodge is at the center of it all, radiating a warm feeling of relaxation. It’s a coming home and coming together with family, new friends, and learning the best of the best about Montana from the locals.

The suites are filled with natural light and extensive views, wood floors, luxe amenities down to the smallest details, including beautiful art and fresh flowers, all while staying authentic Montana. Soak in the jacuzzi bathtub and finish your day writing tomorrow’s story in front of the gas fireplace.

Trout Lodge Rooms

The Trout Lodge is located right next door to the Main Lodge. The four main level rooms offer beautiful views of the property with outdoor seating to take in the sunsets. Each room has a cozy king bed, large walk-in shower, Wi-Fi, television, radiant heat, private entrance, and all of these accommodations are pet-friendly.

Trout Lodge Suite

Located on the second floor of our Trout Lodge building, this suite has two queen-sized bedrooms with private baths and a shared common living room. Amenities include a wet bar, mission-style couch, and a beautiful balcony overlooking our trout pond and property.

This is the heart of the lodge, relaxed, vibrant, and intimate featuring floor-to-ceiling views of the trout pond, open pasture, wildlife, and epic sunsets under the big Montana sky. Savor elevated and creative Montana classics focusing on quality local ingredients. We take pride in our handpicked selection of world-class wines and local microbrews. You will be surprised how simple can be so exquisite.
