Our amenities are extensive, so whatever you feel like doing, it’ll still feel like you’re getting away. When you’re not outside hiking, biking, or fishing, you can still treat your body well inside - whether in our fitness center, a luxurious spa, or outdoor hot tub.

And, our Ranch Houses offer a full kitchen and large flat-screen TV. It’s the perfect locale to gather and make plans for the day, or wind down and relive the adventures you just enjoyed. Then, when you’ve worked up an appetite, head to The Fireside Room or The Grill for an authentic Montana meal.

THINGS TO DO

We can safely say that during your time with us, you’ll never be at a loss for something to do. If outdoor expeditions are what you live for, this is where you belong. Montana vacations are synonymous with outdoor adventure, be it fishing, rafting, horseback riding, mountain biking, or just meandering through raw lands at your leisure. And if it’s indeed fishing you, love, Sage Lodge is the perfect destination for Montana fly fishing.

At Sage Lodge, you’re in the presence of distinctive geographic landmarks that many people never get the opportunity to discover. So, while you can embark on any number of journeys throughout the day, including a tour of Yellowstone National Park just 35 minutes away, we also invite you to pour yourself a drink on your patio or balcony and gaze at the majesty of Emigrant Peak. That, in and of itself, is the type of relaxation that’s worth the trip.

Come take on a new adventure, or simply do the things that make you happy. Either way, you’ll be in a setting that’s quite unforgettable.

Reviews

We really enjoyed our cocktail making class with Peyton at The Grille. We learned how to fat wash bourbon and make blue cheese infused vodka all while talking about the amazing local distilleries. Not to mention the views of the valley through the floor to ceiling windows are stunning. Thank you again Peyton for an enjoyable evening!

This place is magical. The scenery is otherworldly and the property is fairly new and well maintained. We were visiting for a birthday trip and because the spa was under renovation they had to bump us out of our reserved room, but we got upgraded to a ranch house which became an instant highlight of the trip. Just a beautiful house for our family to spread out, play games, stare at the scenery and wildlife from our living room or the decks, or dip in the hot tub right outside our door. Just an amazing experience. And all of the staff were very nice and helpful especially Elizabeth at the front desk, Emily from concierge and all the guides that we interacted with. Highly recommend!

My stay at Sage Lodge was nothing short of incredible. All of my expectations were exceeded. The entire staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The food and drinks were amazing, we did not have a bad meal all 5 days. The property is incredible - I cannot explain how beautiful the property is. Rooms were very cozy and clean - just the right amount of luxury and rustic balanced. If you are doing a fishing experience or guided trip to Yellowstone, you will not be disappointed. We had Garrett for both and he was awesome. Also extremely pet friendly*

We stayed one night at Sage in February and wish we could have stayed longer! It is beautiful! The views are great and the onsite restaurants and bar are also awesome! I wish we lived closer because this is such a great spot to go for a night or two! The only downside we noticed is the location, it is decent proximity to Bozeman which is where we flew into, but once getting over towards Pray, there does not seem to be a lot to do! I am sure in the summer this is a much different story, but for a Sunday night in February there did not seem to be a lot going on! I would still come back regardless, but would just hope to be able to do more next time to enjoy the full serenity Sage Lodge has to offer!
